Not much going on,
so not much to say,
but a few things to show you...
6 more pieces of au.then.tic fabric for Paul/Rachel's quilt arrived yesterday.
I still need some blacks and at least one deep red & one deep purple.

is hosting a 'charmed whirlygig quiltalong'.
Go here for the tutorial.
I made this up just as a practice one...
it's about 28" square.
 A nice tabletopper size.
Or, small blanket.
For your small child to carry.
Or, to wrap your doll in.
Or, for your dog or cat to lay on.
Ya know...whatever.

And, speaking of dogs laying...
wherever I am,
Tag is not far away.
In this photo, I was sewing
on one side of the table toward the end...
and there was Tag, just a few feet away,
at the other end.
He does love his mama!

Thank you for posting the link to the whirlygig tutorial. I have been wanting to make one and hadn't found an easy one to use.

Cool fabric!! I already have kitty and dog quilts, so thanks anyway. Well, I don't have the kitty quilts yet....

I saw the quilt you made Kelley, just wonderful the way you used the word fabric. Tag is like my dog, my shadow, no matter where I go.

I can't wait to see the authentic quilt.
Way to go on those whirlygigs. Aren't they fun? I love your fabric choices.
I wish I had a Tag. He's so cute.

Such a cutie that Tag E Butt!!! The green in the top fabrics is so welcoming to winter weary eyes! And, your whirly gig turned out nice and neat! If that's the "practice" I can only imagine how beautiful the "real" one will be! :-)
