Home Again...

You didn't even know I was gone, did you.

Well, I was!  I was away from home for 48 hours...house/cat/dog/horse/chicken sitting for my friend, Claire.  Out in the country...next door to where I used to live.  (yes, she's the former landlady and current friend/vet)

It was nice to be back out there...it's so quiet in the country!  Outside and inside animals to care for...I am tired.  And, poor Tag.  He was not happy out in the kennel building all by himself.  Poor thing.  He's exhausted and glad to be home.  As am I.

I had nothing to distract me...no tv (I don't know how to work their remotes and I wasn't about to mess things up), and no computer (they don't know their Wi-Fi password).  So, I did some knitting.  AND, I ~gasp~ read 2 and a half books!

A very relaxing time.

I took no photos.  I don't know why I didn't.

But,  here's one of Twist from a few years ago.  He's a nice horse.

This next week is all about sewing.  Can't wait to see what happens when I transfer what's in my head to actual fabric.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.". Jeremiah 29:11

It sounds like a nice way to take a break and do something different, but also familiar.

Quiet country and no electronic noises sounds like a perfect couple of days... I'd love to live out in the country... even if just for some fresher air! lol! Looking forward to seeing what's brewing with your sewing!

Well so glad you had a nice time. It is always nice to go somewhere without internet.
Poor Tag, I hope he gets to rest in his own house with his own things. I can;t wait to see what you will be making next week. Welcome back.

Sometimes we need to be "forced" away from technology for a few days. It sounds like a relaxing break. So, were the books good reads?
