As I awoke this morning,
I had that same, brief moment
that I have every week day.
You know the one...
you think about getting up
to face another work day.
Then reality hit me.
I am retired!
I rolled over...
and jumped out of bed...
eager to start my first day.
(bet you thought I was going to write that I rolled over
and went back to sleep, hey? ~grin~)
