Tying shoes...More Kaylynn.

These are the shoes that Kaylynn wears.
Dang cute...but no laces.

She also has velcro shoes.
Again, no laces.
Therefore, it's been a challenge
to teach her how to tie.
So, we practiced while she was here,
using one of my shoes.

By jove, I think she's got it!

I apologize for the fact that this video is sideways.
I wasn't thinking when I turned my camera
and pushed the button to record this.

Kaylynn loves to color and draw.

I made this out of a piece of corrugated
cardboard and an old shoestring.
Kaylynn took it home to keep up with her new skill.

We had a great time but,
as always, our time together
went by way too quickly.
Love you more, Kaylynn!

Yes, Velcro did a number on things like shoe tying. Not to mention a clock with numbers I still don't think my kids can tell the time on a regular clock. She is such a cutie I bet you did have fun. I get to see all of mine today.

That girl cracks me up!!! LOL!! She is such a doll! Good going on teaching her to tie her laces! At one point i said no more velcro shoes and did the same thing! :D
And after seeing your pics I remembered I had totally forgotten I have prezzys to send for her! When is her next visit? I'll try to get them sent out by next weekend, my mom is having knee surgery tomorrow, so will be at the hospital all week. xo

I'm so proud of her, and you, Grammy, for taking time to teach her! (Even if I did have to hold my head sideways to watch, lol!) Really, I can tie shoes all day long at school....

Hi moms:)
I Invented a product for kids learning to tie shoes. Loopeez revolutionize the way kids learn to tie by attaching to laces and holding the loops in place. You can teach both methods of tying and they are super cute. They are the only product to teach directly on the childs own shoe.Kids learn to tie in minutes. www.loopeez.com
