To catch up.…

Silly me. I guess it will take a bit of time so I will tackle one subject at a time.

Probably the first thing that you want to know is about son Matthew.  He is still battling his cancer. He is working and enjoying life as much as you can as one who has stage four metastatic colon cancer. He’s being very strong, but then, how can he not?

The exciting part is that he got a dog!  He rescued Moxie from a shelter in Louisiana. Told that she is a hound mix, it turns out that she is mostly Boxer!  I must say, though, that she looks more like a Lab mix… and acts like a Labrador!

On the one year anniversary of her adoption, this is what Matthew posted on Facebook…
🐾✨ One year ago today, Moxie came crashing into my life—and not a moment too soon.

At the time, I was struggling. I needed something good, something positive, something that would actually be excited to see me walk through the door. Moxie became all of that and more.

She’s been my reason to smile on the rough days, my companion on the good days, and the reminder that even when life feels heavy, there’s always room for joy (and puppy chaos).

Of course, let’s be real—she’s owned the couch, the recliner, and the bed since day one. I just pay the rent at this point. 🛋️😂

Here’s to year one with my four-legged shadow, partner in crime, and best decision I made in a long time. Can’t wait to see what year two brings. 🐶❤️

(December is when her birthday is, one year ago today is when I got her/rescued her-she rescued me)“

I give you his words only to show you what a gift he knows he has received in Moxie. They make quite the pair!

Please keep Matthew in your prayers…for continued strength in fighting this battle.
