Playing...

I've been keeping my nose to the grindstone.  Well, not that much, but I have been getting things done.  3 of the 4 sets of Kim's patio chair cushion covers are done.  As predicted, each one takes a bit less time than the one before.  I am feeling good about how they're looking.  So, with only one more set to go, my mind has already moved on to the 'what's next' possibilities.  Ya know?

I had made a few of the round ear bud cases when I wondered why they had to be round.  Well, round is definitely cute, but a square case would work just as well.   So, last night, I made a square one.  Size does matter, of course, and though this is dang cute, it's too small for any practical purpose.  Two and one-half inches of square cuteness...

I guess I'll be working on this idea a bit more.

How about you...what are you working on?

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.". Jeremiah 29:11

Two and a half inches of square goodness can be used as a keychain... that can hold change a little money in case someone wants to stop for ice cream during their evening Summer walk... ;-)

Ah Jacque, I had a hard time finding you again. I see your old dog is still there. What a sweetie. My dog being 9 years old is slowing just a bit, till he sees a squirrel of course.
I love the little bags, but for me, the little fiddles of zippers that small is daunting, but my grand daughters love the little wrist ones I make.
Have not blogged or read blogs for such a long time that it took me ages to read through yours and I can see that you really have been working hard at your craft. Well done. regards, Nanci
