Not So Manic Monday...

Today is a state holiday, making this a 3 day weekend for state workers.  I'm not doing much...feeling kinda lazy, I guess.

But, I finished my 3rd swoon block early this morning.

I am loving these orange/aqua blocks.  Did I tell you that there are 81 pieces to each block?  Yikes!  With 3 blocks done, I am 1/3rd of the way done with this quilt top.  Doing one block a week is seeming to work out really well...no stress.

I think I'll read for awhile.

Are you working today?

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."Jeremiah 29:11

Wow, 81?? Lovely block though, rather vintage looking... it's a school holiday today as well... we have snow on the ground here in Seattle, it'll be interesting to see if there is school tomorrow.

Not really, too lazy to do much, fighting off a flu.

I was working all day. Now I am getting caught up with you. I think I am in sewing doldrums. Not really motivated to start another project, I need to snap put of it . :)Yours looks nice, 81 pieces in each block. Wow, that is mind blowing.
They sure look pretty though.

Pretty color combination, 81 pieces, really? Glad you had a nice long weekend, but really do we ever get a day off? Have a good week, stay warm, Julie. Minus ten below this morning!

We got up and watched the History channel with the documentary on Martin Luther King Jr. We drove through Montgomery just the day before and were on Rosa Parks blvd.
An amazing documentary. In Canada, we don't have the drama, which we miss....sometimes. I thought it was a national holiday.
