This is the last Friday I will work. Ever.
(Course, yesterday was the last
Thursday I would work.
And I didn't write a post about that.
The day before...
the last Wednesday I would work
had no special significance, either.)
(And, I still have my last
Monday and Tuesday to work.)
But.
Fridays are special days.
I always waited (couldn't wait!)
for Fridays because that meant I had
finally made it through the week.
That the weekend was finally almost here.
I will no longer have that feeling...
that TGIF feeling.
Cuz.
Every day...
every single day will be
like the weekend to me.
I am so excited!
I am almost there.
To retirement.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.". Jeremiah 29:11

I am so excited for you. I'm much more excited than Tag appears in that photo. LOL
So this truly is a TGIF day
Yes TGIF for the last work week! You made me get a lump in my throat reading about how excited you are. Love you. Joyce
Happy thoughts! :-}pokey
Congratulations! I know you are so excited! Tag says, I saved the spot beside me mom. :-)
Retirement is a wonderful perk after years of working! I retired 12 years ago and have enjoyed every day. Love Jeremiah 29:11. The Lord's plans for me added many, many new friends made through the new adventures of rug hooking and knitting. Enjoy each day in some small way as you begin the next part of your life!
I know you will enjoy having time to do more quilting and spending time with your family.

Oh happy day, you made it!!! Congratulations Jacque...you and Tag will have more time for one another, but my hunch is you will find yourself very busy, but in a good way!!! Hugs from Maine, Julie
Yay! An infinite number of TGIF's!!! What a great feeling! :-) Love the pic of Tag.... kinda like "Yep... if you're happy, than I"m happy"... lol!
I have been waiting for today since you last announced it. I am so excited for you too. I hope you have a long list of things you want to get done. Yay for today!
