Crazy Quilt Pillow

Remember way back here, when I had taken a mini-class on crazy quilts? My intention was to make a pillow...and I finally got to it today. YAY!!

Don't know how well you can see, but I did a bunch of different special stitches (with my Janome!!!). This is for me Mum. Well, the cover is. I'm going to keep the pillow form. She can buy her own pillow form (don't you think?).

Now that the thunderstorm has passed, it's getting very humid. I'm thinking the air is going to be turned on very soon. Comfort above all else.

Hope your Saturday is good!

Love the pillow Jacque! My Mom would prefer to get her own pillow form - but that's My Mom! And on the AC - I say the sooner the air is turned ON - the better! I hate being hot!

Love the pillow. After I finish my scrap quilt, I am finishing one I want to do some crazy stitches on and i will do that with my wool quilt. Need to practice some on the machine to see how the stitches work up on the types of materials I will be using.

Hey Jacque...
Absolutely in LOVE with 'Crazy Quilts'...I have Two Antique ones from 1888 which I hold very dearly...
I have one in progress, that MAYBE just ONE day I'll finish...Fingers are getting a bit tender from the stitches though...

Your pillow looks positively stunning!!! Thanks for sharing your creativity with All of us...

Always My Best...Marilyn
