just that. Bad News. Sad. Devastating, in fact. The kind of bad that makes me want to curl into a ball and shut out the world.
Allegra went to work with me today and was given a thorough neurological exam. Diagnosis...she has a lower brainstem lesion. She will never get better. She will only get worse. Because of the rapid progress thus far, I fear she won't be with us much longer.
It was raining on my drive home. I imagined the raindrops to be tears from heaven.
I am going to take some time off from blogging.
A place to write about my family, my friends, my quilting and stitching...and generally, whatever else comes to mind...doodles.

Hi Jacque I am a huge Kim fan so when she issues instructions I "obey"! All kidding aside, what a blow. SO SORRY. There is nothing I can say which will help other than to let you know you and Allegra are in our hearts and prayers. One thing is for sure, Allegra has lots of love in her life. Jacque, I'm so very sorry. I'd so hoped Allegra's problem would be something simple but now, reading this, my heart goes out to you. Our furry children always leave us too soon but they also leave their pawprints on our hearts. Please know I'm with you in sympathy and love as you prepare to go through this.
