Tag met Kisa today.
We tried the slow intro,
which is the best way to
introduce new animals.
You know...
with one on each side of a closed door.
You know...

Not so with Tag.
Made him all the more anxious.
We then tried crates next to each other.
Nope.
Finally.
Tag meets Kisa - nose to nose.
Well, it would have been if she'd been interested.
After pausing to let him sniff her a few times,
she walked sedately behind the sofa.
Tag's looking for her..."I know she's back here somewhere!"
She is not afraid of Tag.
Not. At. All.
She did swipe at him a few times.
I would have, too.
He was barking right in her face.
And, when she did that, he backed right off.
What a good boy.

he was kinda bouncing around, wanting
her to play with him.
Yeah, like that'll happen.
All in all, I'd say it was a successful first meeting.

Oh, he is so funny! He's all set to be pals and well, cats...they have other ideas! If he minds her, then she'll probably mellow--as long as she can stay in charge! LOL

Absolutely adored the pics! Too funny with him on the couch trying to see behind it! Oh me thinks that Kisa is going to be a tease and Tag is going to be her comedy! So happy there was no hissing and growling!

Well sometimes you just have to just jump right in and give it a big howdy! I'm betting before long they are getting along with no problems at all.
Tag is so funny, he just wants a friends to play with, lol. We have the opposite problem, the kitties want to play with Casey, but he will have none of that or their claws.
