Before I write anything else, I need to apologize for not replying to your comments. I've just been very busy and distracted (it's more the distraction part that keeps me from getting at them). It'll get better. Thank you so much for taking the time to read/comment.
So. Julie is still here...we made it to the one week mark without hurting each other. {grin} I guess that means she's staying! She has been very busy unpacking. I've been busy as well, working at my job (only 3 days this week, though) and moving my stuff around so she has room for her stuff. And, let me just say...she has a LOT of stuff! So much for decluttering. At this point, there is not one room in this house that is entirely the way we want it. It'll get there...slowly but surely.
I've been working on the t-shirt quilt (no photos yet) and need to finish that up...the deadline is fast approaching. I am really looking forward to getting it done, as I have a ton of things waiting for me...and that I am very much wanting to work on. Quilts to start, blocks to make for charity quilts, quilts to quilt (6 are waiting to be sandwiched, basted, and quilted...can you believe that?), tote bags to make, fabric to organize, etc.
In the evenings, I've been working on my stitchery for the Snow Days quilt. I'm on block three. Still haven't put any of the fabric blocks together. I'll wait until I have more done...better to plan placement of colors. Here's what I have done on this one...
I started this block on Monday night...and stitched some on it every evening. I am really enjoying having this to work on! It relaxes me more than I thought it would.
The dogs are getting along fine. We weren't really worried about them. There have been no more dog/cat encounters. Julie has a gate in her bedroom doorway that is several inches off the floor so that fat cat Kisa can get under it should the need arise. So far, Kisa hasn't ventured out on her own. She seems perfectly content right where she is.
I think that's all I have. Have a great day!

Pretty! The church block is looking to be the best one yet! I think we should add a cross on top of the steeple... what do you think?
Good Morning Jacque! You are busy. I'm glad the animals are getting along. I'm lovin the stitchery.
Glad to hear that everyone is getting settled in! I just love the snow days quilt. It's so pretty. You are a busy, busy lady!
Hugs,
Courtney
Hi Jacque - Happy you and your sister haven't hurt each other - too funny - I'm sure things will be fine as long as you have room to stitch and sew! Glad the "kids" are all getting along! And I'm sure Kisa isn't fat - she's fluffy
Sorry I have not commented in a while but I have been reading your site.
It will take time honey for all the changes but they will soon fall into place.
I know it does not seem like it now but take it from one that has been there it just takes a lot of adjustments and prayers but it soon works out
Love
Maggie
I think I would do all the blocks with stitchery, then put them together. It is going to be a beautiful quilt.

No apologies needed! It is so hard to keep up with blogland ~ and I spend way too much time trying...lol! I would get so much more accomplished if I could resist blog temptation.
Glad you and sis the furbabies are settling in.
Pug hugs :)

Well good glad to know all is well. You are just busy and life just gets that way sometimes.
Change seems sometimes to be harder than we think. I know it always seems that way to me.
I hope you have a wonderful week. I will be on Easter Vacation. Goofing off I hope :)
What no finished projects to show? LOL, love the photos of Tag meeting Kesa! Your quilt is coming along nicely, I think it must be just wonderful to have a sister for a roommate! does Julie quilt too? Have a great week! Happy Spring.
