Whirlygig Quilt Done!

Finally done!

I started this Charmed Whirlygig quilt almost 7 months ago. It's been done for a long while, but has been sitting here waiting for me to get around to quilting/finishing it. Got motivated & quilted it Tuesday, finished hand sewing the binding on last night. Got it washed, dried...all crinkly and soft. Made with the 'blossom' fabric collection by Urban Chiks for Moda and Kona cotton solid in 'snow'. Measures 55 x 62.

A few close-ups...this is my first binding cut on the bias...LOVE it!

I really wanted to show off this fabric. I had to put two pieces together to get the width I needed, but you can't even tell where the seam is. (yay for me!) The big flowers (not counting the leaves) measure 7 inches.

I am very happy that today is Friday.

Not sure what I'll be doing this weekend.

What do you have planned?

Very nice and I love the backing. I hope to finish my block today and post a pic tomorrow. But who knows I have been running since I got out of bed this morning.
I still have to take care of my chickens and gather eggs and make pizza and then, I will get to sit down and watch Perry Mason. It came from Netflix.
I hope my weekend is quieter. I missed you, glad you posted.
I hope you are feeling better.

I really like your Whirlygig. Love the bias binding. I still need to get mine quilted, but I can see doing this design again.

Hooray for finishes!!! :-) Love the whirlygigs on the front and the back is reminding me of the kale folks plant outside when the weather starts to turn cold... Great job on the bias binding too!

I love the bias binding. I love how you pieced the back. You really can't tell, that's nice. Quilting looks good too Jacque.
