Hi Jacque! Happy Fourth to you also! Mike and I are just hanging out here at home, cooking on the grill later, and I am trying to recover from yesterday's fall of big Gilly! ouch!

I spent the day resting, had a down day, so finished up some blocks I made. Hoping I can get out for a paddle tomorrow.

Minerva took me out to eat Friday night, then we took the kids to Wasilla (40 miles north) to her friend's house and a parade and then a citywide picnic with free hotdogs!! On the way home we stopped for ice cream. Today I took the kids for a walk and just hung out until naptime!

Jacque, I hope you had a wonderful holiday. We just had the kids over for hamburgers and baked beans and then, of course, the fireworks. Gerry and our grandson, Travis, did themselves proud with their choice of fireworks.
Yesterday was a lazy day, since by the time we got the mess cleaned up and got to bed, it was late. Today is back to the grind, although I'd really like to go back to last Thursday evening and have a 're-do' so I could get more rest.
