A Day For Giving Thanks...

Today is a quiet day for me.
After having 2 meals of turkey with
all the trimmings in the last 5 days,
and now that me Mum has left,
I am using today as an extra day...
one to do something fun.

I have a quilt to start,

gifts to sew for my coworkers...

and bee blocks to catch up on.

But...you know what?
I'm going to do none of those.
I feel the need to just spend
time doing something fun.

Not yet sure what it will be.
But, I will be sure to show you!
{grin}

For some reason,
I didn't take photos while
me Mum was visiting.
Except this one...

She brought me a very
special birthday gift.
Oh, not to worry...
you didn't miss my birthday.
This gift is very early.

There is a story involved
with this beautiful needlepoint
that I will share at some other time.
For now, just know that it is very special to me.

It has now fallen to me to finish it.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today is a day of giving thanks.
Among many other things,
I am thankful for all of you and
I wish you all a Blessed Thanksgiving!
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."Jeremiah 29:11
Hey Jacque, Happy Thanksgiving and glad you got some time with your Mom.
Woke up to 10 turkeys in the backyard eating out my birdfeeders...the survivors! I got some pictures, will have them soon to share.
Watching the Packers and going to eat later with Mom, Ron and his Mom at Country Buffet.
My thanks for having you for a BFF for so many years!
Love,
Janer
Very nice bday gift. Waiting for the story. Lucky girl to have 2 Thanksgiving meals. I did too, one at church and one at Jon's yesterday.
I am thankful for you, my sister.
