Simple Sampler Quiltalong...

As I blogged about here, I joined a quiltalong
hosted by Amy (of Amy's Creative Side).

Not because I needed something else to do,
but because I thought this would be an excellent
project for the Metro Mirage fabric collection
I picked up last winter.

And, because joining a quiltalong is a
great way to keep me motivated and on track.

Here are the first two blocks...

A simple 4-patch

and a 4-patch times 4!

These were quick and easy blocks to start with.
My biggest problem was getting started.
That whole indecision thing I have goin'
on when selecting fabrics.
I think I've got it all figured out now.

Hope your day is productive!

I love doing simple block quilts and letting the fabrics, do the work. I like the color combo in the first one, really nice shades and designs.
