Blushing Turtles...

Remember the charmed blush quilt for Joyce's granddaughter, Ashley?

And, the turtle quilt for Joyce's grandson, Riley?

I had posted about them when I was working on them here and here, but then Joyce asked me to wait & not show them again until she got them.

I finally finished everything that was going to Alaska.  Got the box packed and it arrived in Anchorage today!

Here they are...
I quilted the charmed blush quilt with a variegated thread in a square spiral working from the center outward.

The turtles quilt is quilted with diagonal lines...1/2" apart in one direction only.

Joyce is very happy with them...YAY!

I'm getting closer to trying a quilt top. I sewed my first set of curtains today. Yippee

Very nice, Jacque!
I love the blush quilt, but of course, it's girly-girl and pink and floral...my eternal downfall...
Great job, as usual!
Love,
Janer

(Oh, love the sunglasses case too...looks like fabric from her quilt?)

More wonderful projects - those turtles are too cute. The colors in both are great! Love what you do on the backs too.

I just enlarged the photos to look at them on here and I could just go look at them out in the other room. I just did what you told me you did earlier!!!!! LOL
