Hi Jacque, I just found your blog and think it will be a great source of inspiration. I just bought a sewing machine and hope to learn to make a quilt this year, in between hooking rugs.
The fabrics you're using in this one are certainly pretty and very unique. Love the one with the scissors! How cute.
I should email you, Jacque, but I just don't have the energy. I'm doing okay, just very sad. And my son is, right now, on his way to the vet's office to have his main cat PTS. Chicory is 19, give or take, and was a stray I took in years ago. Then he went to live with my son, Ken, because he loved Ken most of all. Chicory's been diabetic for the past 2 years but under good control with diet. But he's really failed the past few weeks. Ken brought him over here last night so we could test his sugar levels and he was 36!! OMG. Chicory was just bones covered by skin and this morning, Ken called in hysterics. Even with the honey, Chicory couldn't even walk today. So it's time. So soon after losing Cinnamon. Too soon! Another loving life to grieve for.
