Au. Then. Tic.

Ohmygosh...look what came in the mail today!!!

It's a 'just because I love you' gift from Brenis! She's such a good friend! I have lusted over this fabric since the first time I saw a photo of it in June. Saw some at the LQS when my sisters and I were there...resisted (ohman, it was difficult!) buying any. Now I have some...YAY! Thank you so much, Bren! I love you, too!! There's about a yard total...what shall I make with it??? My brain is coming up with many possibilities!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You all never saw the apron I made for myself.
This is my 'sisters weekend' gift to myself.
(actually, I don't know why I didn't take photos of the other 3 like this!)
Allegra is doing well. Had a neuro exam today and Dr. Petersen was very pleased with how she is doing. Seems to have a gag reflex...or more of one (that was like nonexistent), anyway. Said she looks good. So.
But. Took urine in to be checked for bacteria. None showed. So, no UTI? However, it showed bilirubin and glucose. Glucose??? As in Diabetes??? Weird. I'll have some bloodwork done to see what that shows. 6 weeks ago, everything was completely normal.
So, prayers are still needed for my baby girl.
Today she is very happy and yappy. YAY!!
No way am I going to tell her to be quiet. Ya know?
I like fabric with words on it, can't wait to see what you come up with. Allegra is still in my thoughts and prayers.
Happy and yappy is music to the ears! I'm glad Allegra is feeling much better! Love that pizza apron! Who wouldn't be inspired to cook with one of those? :-)
Still praying for Allegra! Hope you find out something.
I love the pizza apron. I could eat pizza everyday of my life ans never get sick of it, seriously.
I've been seeing that fabric around. That was such a nice gift.
Love your apron, Jacque, and the new fabric is really neat! So sorry I haven't answered your email but I've been only doing "hit and runs" with the computer. No time. It's all doctor's appointments. Hopefully, they'll eventually figure out what's going on with me but in the meantime, I've got (I think) 15 different appointments coming up so I'm not even finding time to hook! And I'm tired and cranky.
I'm so glad to hear Allegra is doing better. Even though it does no good, I get terribly stressed when one of my babies is ill. I'm keeping your girl in my prayers.
That fabric is very cool. The pocket on my apron with the kitchen chairs, matches my tote bag you made me, not my plastic bag holder. I finally checked it out.
Allegra is in my thoughts and prayers. Over the weekend when I was reading your blog Alyssa asked how you pronouce Allegra and she said it over and over until she got it right!! So Allegra is definitely in our thoughts these days. Joyce
