Can't Help It...

I am just pleased as punch over how this is turning out.

Here are closeups of the quilting I did...
wavy lines with a variegated cotton thread.

I was inspired by Linda's work.

I am more in love with this than I thought I would be...
sorry, I cannot help myself.

Remember, I am new to all of this and

it makes me feel so good to have something turn
out the way I think (hope) it will!

Anyway. Here is the front...

and the back...

All I need to do is sew on the binding.

Then, of course, you will be treated to a photo of the entire mini quilt.

Good grief...I may break my arm patting myself on the back...

don't you think? ~grin~

Wow girl, you sure are getting a lot done and learning so much, so soon.
I love top stitching with the machine, but I hate pinning large quilts, so need to get over that hump and maybe I will finish more of mine.

You're doing an excellent job! I don't dare start quilting because I sure don't need another project in the living room! Finished my chicken rug. Getting ready to post a pic soon!

I am finding this quite addicting...what else can I sew??? haha...like I need one more thing to do. I am excited about a new rug pattern, so will have to get back to hooking very soon!!
