I started another job today. My good friend, Claire, who is a partner in a veterinary clinic, asked if I would help out once in awhile on Saturdays. Course, I said, "yes". I worked with Claire many years ago when I was first a student and then a new technician in private practice. Claire is my friend, my veterinarian, my landlady and now my boss! Cripes! I hope we can keep straight what hat she's wearing!
I was a bit nervous going in, but soon relaxed when I discovered that I hadn't forgotten as much as I thought I might have. Biggest hurdle, in addition to learning exactly how this clinic does things, is the computer program they use. But, I already have a good handle on it, so that's not going to be so much of a hurdle. I had a good time training and will enjoy any hours I put in over there. It's about a 5 minute drive from my door, so what more could I ask for?
I'll be hooking for the rest of today and am hoping to make some good progress on my 2sheep rug! YAY!
