On the First Day...

I love 3 day weekends.
(Course, lately...every single day
has been like a weekend.)

At any rate.
Here's what I did today...
finished stitching block 8
of the 'snow days' quilt...YAY!
I have just 6 more blocks to embroider
and then it will be time to start
piecing the fabric blocks.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was a very quiet day,
until I heard a snapping/tearing sound...
oops!
The tree limb cracked...see it?
The end of it is resting on the sunroom roof.
We made a call to the landlord...
hopefully, it'll get taken care of very soon!
That's all I have.
Hope you're enjoying your 3 day weekend!
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Gosh I thought you were almost finished with those blocks. I didn't know there were so many.
How scary about that huge limb on that tree.
I hope they come soon to fix it.
I love to stitch when I am resting, great to do while I watch tv. But, I need to finish other things first;)
Great stitching! So what prompted the crackling of the tree limb? Glad it didn't do serious damage!
That cracking sound is always alarming! I'm glad you weren't hurt. I hope the landlord can get it squared away soon. Your blocks are coming along so beautifully!
Hurray for Block 8! Looking great! Yikes about the tree limb! Hopefully it didn't do any harm to the roof. You were having storms there?
Pretty stitches, Jacque. I hope that branch gets taken care of before there's any damage.
How are you feeling, any increase in your energy level...? Good to see your embroidery has you busy ~
