Sunshine Quilt for Doreen...

I put the border on
this over a month ago.
Then, I got distracted by other projects.

It is actually on my list
of projects to finish this month.
But, now it needs to be done before August 2.
I'll be seeing Doreen on that day!
She's coming to Madison...
to the UW Hospital
for a second opinion on her cancer.
I'm so happy that I'll be able to spend
a bit of time with her.

The quilt is now sandwiched and pinned.
Just need to decide how to quilt it.

Any thoughts?
I'd be happy to hear them.

Hope you had a great weekend!

Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with all thy might. - Ecclesiastes 9:10

The sunshine yellow is surely a comfort quilt if I ever saw one! Jacque, I'm emailing a quilt line that I was drawn to for my hexagon project, maybe it'll spark inspiration? In the end, mine was stippled because I can do that easy...

Oh it's SO beautiful!!!! Sunshine and honey! I'm stumped on the quilting... maybe in the ditch? Random stipling would be good too... I'm so happy that you will be able to see her Aug 2nd! :-)

She's going to love it! What a beautiful quilt. You do such amazing work. Wish I could help with the quilting suggestions...but I'm hopeless at this needle art!
I know you'll put the perfect finishing touches on it!
