Paper Piecing...

I have never before paper-pieced a block.
Have you?
How do you like doing it?
I'm finding it a bit tedious,
definitely time-consuming...
but I do like the results!

I've been catching up on the small
projects that have been piling up.
Which does include the blocks for my bee swap.

What is taking up most of my time
is the paper-pieced kaleidoscope
pattern block that was asked for.

Tune in tomorrow for the results.

And, to see what else I accomplished
on this 3 day weekend.

Besides consuming this pint of ice cream, that is.
{grin}

Have a Happy Fourth!

I have a whole package of pieces to make a quilt I bought years ago to teach myself how to do that. It is in still perfect condition because I have taken it out and put it back.
So I will be interested to find out what yours looks like. Not to mention you honest opinion.
You ice cream looks wonderful. I made a practice batch of home made ice cream today. I am drinking coffee and trying not to watch them eat it. :) I will keep the watermelon close. :)
Have a great day!

I have done two types of paper piecing....The English paper piecing and the paper piecing using a sewing machine. Each one makes it so precise.
Looking forward to seeing what your working on.
Happy 4th!
