ohboy...I discovered something new!!!
With Julie here,
I have someone to hold my quilts
I have someone to hold my quilts
while I take the photo(s)!!!
You cannot imagine how excited I am about it.
{grin}
Here's the summer sunshine quilt...
the hexagon center is done.
Need to add a few borders.
Out of some leftover pieces
& Kona cotton solid in white,
I quickly put together this quilt top.
I quickly put together this quilt top.
Summer sunshine for a sweet doll.
Happy Sunday!

I just love that you can show us the whole piece at once! Beautiful! And then, going on to a little doll quilt with the rest of the fabric...wonderful!
Hugs,
Courtney
Love them both - they both are so "happy" - the colors are great!
Who knew that Julie was such a wonderful quilt model!
Three cheers for Julie!!! :-) Both quilts are looking marvelous!!! Lots of sunshine to go around!
I just love your wonky quilt with the stars. It is very nice and I like your sunshine quilt too. You have been really busy and it sounds really nice. I love your newest dog.
It made me remember that book called
Gray Dawn by Alfred Payson Terhune. I love that book or all of those books, you know like Lad a dog?
Enjoy your Mom.
Hugs,
Really love how that came out, those colors in hexagons are gorgeous.

Jacque, I love them!!!! Yay for having a quilt holder. Are you going to put the wonky star quilt in your shop? I might have to snatch that baby up if you do!!!!!
Love, love, love both of your quilts!!! I want to try a hexagon quilt also. Did you use a special template?
I am so happy that Julie is being put to some good use!!! LOL
Love the quilt - exceptional work as always!!!

Lovely, the wonky stars are in my future now that I am 90% recovered.
How are the dogs getting on in this heat...we are just lazing around here.
Hexies must be one of the in thing this year, even saw a purse done with them...
