Lazy Days...

Since late Sunday afternoon,
I have done nothing of substance.

Not sure why,
but I have absolutely no ambition!

I think about what I want to do,
yet I don't do it.

The most ambitious I've been this week...
I delivered the 2 baby Halloween bags
to the vet school.

Other than that?
Nothing.
At.
All.

Before I go to bed at night,
I think about what I want to do on the morrow.
Yet, that just doesn't happen.

OH!  I have been knitting a bit.
Another facecloth.
In Clementine.

AND, I have been reading.
About doll-making.

But, that's all.

I surely hope that this,
too, shall pass.

ps  it's not that i haven't done anything at all.
The dishes are done, the bed is made,
the vacuuming is done, the dog is walked...
I've done some editing...
just haven't done anything creative.
That's all I meant.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.". Jeremiah 29:11

I go through stages like that, sometimes we need a change of pace. As much as we love creating, if that is all we do, it becomes a chore, so a day out for fun always energizes me or in my case, kills me and now I have to rest until my body stops hurting, lol.

I forgot you used to work at a Vet. Can you check out my latest post on Millie and see if you've ever seen this before. (This dog will be the death of me)

Sometimes I think we just need to just rest. I know I feel sometimes I just don't have the energy to work on anything. It will pass.

Maybe that's what retirement is! Sometimes you just need to slow down and re-group. Just so you feel good, I wouldn't worry about it. BTW Brit is back to his regular fun loving self!! He had me worried, he was sick for about a week. Hope Tag is all better too!!! These kids!
