Snow Days...Getting Done!

Woohoo!
I finished putting the
outside border block units together!
What a good feeling!

Here are the final four block units...

I will set it aside, but just for a little while.
I need to concentrate
on a few small projects.
(Mother's Day is coming up, you know.)

And, I am on vacation in 9 days.
Usually, I stay home and sew
and read and stuff like that.

This time, I will be visiting
me Mum and other family.
I am very much looking forward to it.

But, after that, I will
haul out my light box and
work on the stitchery
parts of 'snow days' again.

I am getting excited!
Perhaps it will be finished this year.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.". Jeremiah 29:11

Me too because it tells me it is a possible project. You know I still want to do that Halloween one but I admit to being afraid of never finishing it. I am so excited about this one. As with all of your quilts I can already tell it will be a work of art. I am so glad you are getting to go on vacation too.

Good evening Jacque, your quilt is coming along nicely. Glad to hear your taking a well earned vacation, how nice to visit your mom and other family. Who will provide care for the big brown puppy? Well, I hope spring has found you, greetings, Julie.
