What a pain.
Literally.
Chronic.
Osteoarthritis.
I went to see an orthopedic surgeon today. Both knees are not good...but my right knee is really not good. No surgery at this time. I opted for the SYNVISC injections...ultrasound guided injections. Into the knee. {squirm} But, if they work and I get some pain relief, I'll be happy. Click here if you'd like to read up on it.
so...maybe I won't take my camera. |

LOLOL!
You can show me the pics and it won't bother me but I imagine that isn't the same for most!
Sorry you are hurting so bad, why not doing surgery? I thought you wanted to go that route.

I also read up on the synvisc.

I hope it works for you.....but no pics please! Lol
Sounds like a great treatment to relieve pain.
I could use that in my hand, lol.

O U C H!!! Sorry for you. I will turn my head if you decide to post the pictures....*smiles*
That's one big needle! Hope it provides some relief
LOL! A great sense of humor will help you to get through this! I'll be praying the procedure goes as smoothly as possible!
Oh, Jacque, so not good!! I've dealt with the cortisone injections in my ankle and hip and geez, those suckers hurt! So much painful pressure.
I hate to hear that you've got bad knees. I can predict the weather with my right knee after breaking the top of my tibia two years ago. Doc said I'll eventually need a knee replacement since I've developed post traumatic stress arthritis but I say "No way!"
My left ankle is much worse but now that I'm a diabetic, there's no way I can have surgery on it. That foot is so deformed now, I hate to take off my shoes.
I haven't had the time to comment lately but want you to know that I'm still dropping my at least once a week and I love what you're doing with your quilting. Such an artist you are!
Oh, poor Jacque!! I hope you get relief from that really loooong needle!! I'm sending lots of positive vibrations your way!!!!!
Oh, Jacque, I hope the injections work for you. We tried them in my right knee to no avail. That's the one I eventually replaced.
Interestingly, years ago before I had it done on me, I had the vet do it to one of my horse's ankles and he got the relief.
Keeping my fingers crossed for you,
trisha
Oh Jacque!!! Bad knees, oh, my how painful! Why does getting older have to "HURT"?
I am scared of needles especially BIG ones! The doc said they could give me a shot in the shoulder for the torn tendon but I declined. OUCCH, no shots for me please and thank you! :-(
Hope it helps so you aren't in pain anymore!
Oh no! I'll be praying that the injections work. You really don't have to take pictures. I can image what it would look like. But thanks anyway!!
Jacque ~
I hope the injection helps! I think I'll pass on the pictures...lol!
Pug hugs :)
