Three Days...

Grieving for Tag.  ohboy.  ~sigh~  I'm gonna tell you...it is tough being without him.

I will be okay. Eventually.

Having things to keep busy with helps keep my mind occupied. The perfect distraction...there are just 3 more days until 'load the truck and leave Wisconsin' day!  I have a lot packed, but there is much more to do.

I spent Wednesday and Thursday of this week in Eau Claire visiting family and friends.  It was a nice time...although, as always, it was not nearly enough time.

Keep an eye on Facebook to see how my trip is going and (hopefully) photos of what I've seen along the way to my new home in Colorado.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.". Jeremiah 29:11

I know you must be grieving Tag, and leaving and all of the changes hitting you at once. I am so sorry. I wish there was something I could do to help. I guess the only thing I ever do is " set my mind like a flint" I always hear Elisabeth Elliot saying that in my head. I know it must hurt so bad every time you sit in your chair or see the Warthog. I am glad though, you didn't let him suffer. Today, I see people letting animals suffer so long. I think you are doing the right thing in every thing before you. Think of the snow you won't have to put up with and the cold every time you feel blue. :)
You can do this Jacque. You are the bravest person I have ever met.

Dear Jacque, I'm so sorry about your Tag; I somehow missed reading this. It is so heartbreaking when we lose a beloved companion. Maybe your move will ease the pain just a bit-with so much to do, at least you won't be worrying about him. Safe travels my friend and welcome to our beautiful Colorado.
Hugs, Noreen

Jacque,
Promise I will keep up with your Facebook page so I can read all the adventures you are having heading West. I know it will seem strange not to have the brown dog as your navigator. However, you will have so much to do with your move and getting settled, that it might not hit you until your first night alone. Do you still have his warthog? It can sleep on your bed for awhile.

Take care, my friend, and drive safely. What a great state you will be calling home. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

What a beautiful quote. I can verify it, still missing my dear Bibi the beagle. The love for her will always be there! I was so lucky to have her in my life!
Wishing you lots of strength.
