Lots of Stuff...

Kaylynn's first day of kindergarten was yesterday.
Her Mom sent me photos...

Here she is, all ready to go...

Now, she's waiting for the bus...

Finally, she's in her classroom...

I talked with Kaylynn on the phone last night...
she was so excited!

I haven't done any sewing or quilting since my last post.
Decided to just settle down and move the timeline.
Got my thread yesterday.

I am set to go.

My dqs9 partner got her doll quilt.
Actually, both of them.
I made one for her.
This one...

Look at how wild the back looks...
that's the center fabric of the front.

I made the black and white with lime green
quilt for her cat, Millie.

Here is a photo that Lynne sent
of Millie laying on her new quilt!
See how the quilt matches her?
Millie has her own here.
It's a great feeling when what you make
is received so well by the ones you made it for.

Exciting NEWS!!!
Do you know Nate Berkus?
He's known because of his
affiliation with Oprah Winfrey.

Well, he now has his own show!
Starts next Monday.
I am so excited!

Go here to see what he's up to.
That's all I have for today.

She is so cute in her new clothes, so fun to dress little girls;) Kitty looks very comfy on her new quilt and it does look stunning with her colors.

Kaylynn looks so cute all dressed "girlie". Sweet! My grandson also started kindergarten and his first day of school comments were that he had to walk down the hall with his hands behind his back and to be quiet. That was all he had to say about it!
Love the pic of Millie on her quilt.
Hugs :)

Kaylynn is so darn cute. I still love her eyes and eyelashes! Gorgeous. And I'm glad to hear she's excited about kindergarten and not scared.

Love the picture of Millie on her quilt. You're really one busy woman, keeping up with all of your quilting.

In two days, we head out the door for 3 weeks in Maine. No, no vacation but family obligation (Gerry's family lives in downeast Maine). We were stationed in SW Harbor, Maine for 5 years back in the late 80's so I'm excited to see the 'old' home again but boy, this is such a headache. Lots of packing and work, along with finding a petsitter for the kitties. We're taking the laptop with us so I hope to stay connected but time with be a factor.
Love you, Jacque.
