Sunshine Stars Doll Quilt...

 Another finish.
I am very pleased with how this turned out.
I put together this sunshine star doll quilt with
scrap pieces from my large hexagon sunshine quilt
(that has yet to be finished!)
and Kona cotton solid in White.
Wonky stars are easy - and fun! - blocks to make...
you'll find the tutorial here.

I quilted in a very small meandering pattern
up to the edge of each point of the stars.
I did not 'stitch in the ditch' around the stars
to outline them as originally planned.
The stars themselves are very poofy.
After laundering, this measures ~20.5 inches square.

Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with all thy might. - Ecclesiastes 9:10

Wow! You are busy! I love all that quilting on this little doll quilt. And the wonky stars! Love it. Did I tell you that I started using the word "wonky" at school and the girls kept a tally of how many times I said it? At least they learned a new word!
Hugs,
Courtney

A sunshine quilt, it just puts a smile on my face! Very sweet Jacque. Yes, I admit I did have to go to the dictionary to find the meaning of "wonky", yup, learned something new! Have a great week, Julie.

Beautiful sunshine quilt! The wonky shape of the stars almost makes them look like they are shining!
